My Darling Adia Rose, What a joy to me.
She will be starting Kindergarten in August. We go Thursday to look around the school, meet teachers and get a feel of the school. I cant believe how grown up my little baby is, everyday i look at her and see more young lady and less baby. It saddens me and brings me joy at the same time.
I love Tuesdays, for many reasons but the main reason is that its the day of our Woman’s Bible Study at church. I am part of the praise and worship team, Rudy (my husband) plays guitar and helps us sing, keeps us all in key and sounding good, Julie leads it, then we have Lori and Rocky.
Today i took the offering – i had never done this before and was pretty nervous but i am really wanting to stretch myself and step out of those comfort zones. I will never grow as a christian if i keep doing what i’ve always done. So i read the verses in the Bible from
malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.
What i got from this when i read it, was actually kinda funny, cause to me it sounds like God is Daring us to tithe, he saying’ i double dog dare you to tithe’ And JUST wait and see what amazing blessings i will send down on you. I love this. God is such an amazing God, His ways are Not our ways, we don’t understand why we have to do things a certain way. But does it work? YES!
The rest of my day was pretty uneventful, Rudy did leave work early cause he was feeling under the weather. My poor baby.
Me and the kids layed around, i fell asleep on the chair watching ‘fairly odd parents’
Rudy sold his little blue Honda motercycle, which was a huge blessing, I was tired of it sitting on my front porch, you only need so many motercycles on your porch.
My children are being amazing today, they always are, but i think i am being a better mom, which in turn makes them better!
This is my first post, i would really like to journal everyday. We’ll see how that goes.
